SUPERNOVA DOGS owner and trainer, Noelle, began working with her first fearful rescue dog in 2011 and three years later became involved with a local dog rescue. Her experience volunteering and fostering resulted in a soft spot for the bully breeds and a passion for training. Noelle has many years of experience coaching ice skating which made coaching owners to train their canine companions a natural fit. She is dedicated to helping owners achieve improved communication and an enhanced relationship with their dogs.
Noelle is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through Do More With Your Dog! She has experience teaching Tricks, Agility, Obedience, and Puppy Socialization classes as well as working individually with Reactive Rovers. Noelle first got started in agility training with her fearful and reactive dog Nova to build her confidence. The duo found a love for the sport and although they may not be able to compete due to her reactivity, they enjoy working as a team in the ring. Nova has earned numerous titles, including Champion Trick Dog, Champion Fitness, and several parkour titles. Noelle’s Rottweiler, Mongo, is a Novice Trick Dog and has also achieved his AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Advanced Canine Good Citizen, and AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen titles.
Noelle believes that continued education is not only beneficial for self-development but is key to the success of teaching her students. She enjoys attending seminars, webinars, and reading published behavior/training literature to further her knowledge and stay informed on the most current research and techniques. Noelle is working towards becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT. Most recently, Noelle has found an interest in canine fitness, rehabilitation, and holistic healing modalities which has led her to pursue further education in those areas.
Noelle always reminds her training students to “Be Patient, Be Consistent, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!”
