FAQ’s

Do you have a class schedule available?

We do not have a set class schedule for all classes. Many of our sport classes are ongoing and we open new sessions as space becomes available. Our puppy, family dog, and behavior classes are listed on the registration page when sessions are available. If you do not see your desired class, fill out our contact form and we will let you know if we have an upcoming session planned or we can add you to our wait list!

How many dogs do you allow in a class?

Each class typically hosts 4-6 dogs. We prioritize smaller class sizes so that our instructors are able to work with all of the students throughout class, and provide one-on-one attention and feedback.

What if I’m not sure what class to sign my dog up for?

We are happy to discuss your challenges and goals to help determine what training program would be best to start! We are not always able to answer phone calls as they come in as we do not have dedicated office staff, but if you leave us a voicemail or send us a text message, we can schedule a phone consultation to identify what program will best meet your training needs.

Do you require an evaluation before signing up?

No, we do not require an in-person evaluation prior to registration. If signing up for a behavior class, such as our Reactive program, we do recommend scheduling a phone consultation before registering.

Can more than one family member attend class?

Yes, we encourage pet parents to come to class together! Immediate family who will be instrumental in your dog’s training (especially for behavior-related issues) should attend class so everyone is on the same page. Consistency is key!

Can kids participate in classes too?

Yes, kids are able to attend classes and Junior Handlers are welcome! If your child is engaged with your dog, and shows interest in working with them, especially in sport, we encourage them to participate as handlers! (Ages 12-17) *Junior Handlers require a parent or guardian to be present during class times.

Can I try a class before signing up for a full session?

We do not offer drop ins (or trial classes) at this time—but if you join a class and it does not end up being a good fit for you or your dog, we will transfer you into a different class, or credit your remaining payment towards an alternative class in the future.

Do you only offer group classes?

No, while we do offer a variety of different group class options, we also have options for private training sessions, in-home training, or virtual appointments.

Do you only work with certain dog breeds?

We do not have breed restrictions! All breeds are welcome and our instructors have experience working with a variety of breeds.

If you have any other questions that aren’t covered here, please put it in the additional information box on your contact form and we will respond as soon as possible.
