-
The training center is open 7 days a week by appointment only. Staff opens the building specifically for day school hours, scheduled classes, private training, or special events. As a small business with limited staff, our team responds to office inquiries (emails, phone calls, and messages) Sunday through Friday as our schedule allows.
-
We do not have a set class schedule for all classes. Many of our sport classes are ongoing and we open new sessions as space becomes available. Our puppy, family dog, and behavior classes are listed on the registration page when sessions are available. If you do not see your desired class, fill out our contact form and we will let you know if we have an upcoming session planned or we can add you to our wait list!
-
Each class typically hosts 4-6 dogs. We prioritize smaller class sizes so that our instructors are able to work with all of the students throughout class, and provide one-on-one attention and feedback.
-
We are happy to discuss your challenges and goals to help determine what training program would be best to start! We are not always able to answer phone calls as they come in as we do not have dedicated office staff, but if you leave us a voicemail or send us a text message, we can schedule a phone consultation to identify what program will best meet your training needs.
-
No, we do not require an in-person evaluation prior to registration. If signing up for a behavior class, such as our Reactive program, we do recommend scheduling a phone consultation before registering.
-
While we would love to meet you and discuss training options, we are not open for drop-in visits as it can be disruptive to our students and staff. If you would like to see the facility before registering you can contact us to inquire about scheduling an appointment to visit during our off hours.
-
Yes, we encourage pet parents to come to class together! Immediate family who will be instrumental in your dog’s training (especially for behavior-related issues) should attend class so everyone is on the same page. Consistency is key!
-
Yes, kids are able to attend classes and Junior Handlers are welcome! If your child is engaged with your dog, and shows interest in working with them, especially in sport, we encourage them to participate as handlers! (Ages 12-17) *Junior Handlers require a parent or guardian to be present during class times.
-
We do not offer drop ins (or trial classes) at this time—but if you join a class and it does not end up being a good fit for you or your dog, we will transfer you into a different class, or credit your remaining payment towards an alternative class in the future.
-
Yes! While we do offer a variety of different group class options, we also have options for private training sessions, in-home training, or virtual appointments. C
-
We do not have breed restrictions! All breeds are welcome and our instructors have experience working with a variety of breeds.
