Improving your dog’s overall health and wellness through fitness can contribute to longer, happier and more active lives. Canine conditioning and fitness training addresses the five fitness components:

  • Flexibility

  • Balance

  • Strength

  • Coordination

  • Stamina

Intro to Fit Dog class provides safe, beginner exercises that are fun, engaging, and encourage a more active lifestyle. Class exercises will include curriculum from the AKC Fit Dog program as well as sport foundations skills and movement exercises. The use of low impact activities makes these classes appropriate for all skill levels and age ranges from puppies to senior dogs.

These classes are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any physical issues your dog may experience. Any concerns about your dog’s physical health should be directed to your veterinarian. The Intro to Fit Dog class is not intended as a fitness or sport training program.
