Tricks Are For Dogs

Level 1 Tricks Class

Tricks class is designed to provide you with the training tools to teach and challenge your dog with new skills. Dog tricks encompass a range of sports categories including: agility, disc dog, dog dancing/freestyle, helper/service dog, hunting/retrieving, obedience, search and rescue/police dog, therapy dog and tracking. Level 1 Tricks Class is designed to provide you with the training tools to teach your dog foundational behaviors that can be used for building higher level tricks. Utilizing positive reinforcement, you and your dog will learn a variety of different types of tricks to show off just what a great trick team you are! 

Students who are interested in trick titling are typically able to submit their Novice Trick Title with AKC or Do More With Your Dog! upon class completion.

  • 6 week session, classes meet for 1 hour weekly

  • $135/6 weeks

  • None. Handlers may find it helpful to have completed a Basics class prior to attending but it is not required.

Level 2 Tricks Class

Level 2 tricks class will provide many more opportunities for learning, challenges and FUN!  The foundation skills and behaviors acquired in Level 1 will serve as the groundwork for this class. You will learn how to build on these known behaviors to accomplish more advanced tricks and behavior chains.

Students who are interested in trick titling may be eligible to submit their Intermediate or Advanced Trick Titles upon class completion.
